خُمسُ نفطِ العالمِ يمرُّ كلَّ يومٍ من مضيقِ هرمز، وحدَه. ومعه بابُ المندب والسويسُ وملقا، شرايينُ الاقتصادِ العالميِّ تجري في مياهٍ عربيةٍ وإسلامية. ثمانونَ عاماً منعتنا قاعدةُ «حريةِ الملاحة» من لمسِ هذا الكنز، حتى تصدّعت في اتفاق 2026. السؤال: هل ندركُ ثقلَ ما نملك، ونُمسكه معاً؟

A fifth of the world's oil passes through the Strait of Hormuz alone, every day. With Bab al-Mandab, Suez and Malacca, the arteries of the global economy run through Arab and Muslim waters. For eighty years the "freedom of navigation" rule kept us from touching that treasure, until it cracked in the 2026 deal. The question: do we grasp the weight of what we hold, and will we hold it together?
