يفكك هذا الفيديو شعار المحور المعادي للامبريالية عبر استعارة الصعلوك: طرف لا يبني وطنا بل يعيش عالة على بلدان غيره. يصل مفلسا بصرة شعارات، يفتح دكانا في زاوية بلد ليس بلده (سوريا)، ويمتص الشارع حتى يمتلئ هو ويخوى اهله. والواقعة الصلبة التي يرتكز عليها: في يوليو ٢٠١٥، ومع تهاوي نظام الاسد، سافر قاسم سليماني قائد فيلق القدس الى موسكو رغم حظر السفر الاممي المفروض عليه بالقرار ١٧٤٧، وفرش خريطة سوريا امام قادة روس، واقنعهم بان المشروع لا يزال قابلا للانقاذ بمقولة نقلتها رويترز: "لم نخسر كل الاوراق". وبعد اسابيع، في ٣٠ سبتمبر ٢٠١٥، بدا التدخل الجوي الروسي الذي انقذ النظام. المفارقة: الحركة التي تهتف ضد الاسياد والامبريالية، لم تدافع عن اغنى دكاكينها كقوة، بل تسولت النجدة من قوة كبرى صارت تدين لها. ثمانية مشاهد يؤديها صعلوك (سليماني كاريكاتيريا): يصل بصرته، يفتح دكانه، يمتص الشارع حتى الغنى، ينهار الشارع صيف ٢٠١٥، يحمل صرته ويتسول من موسكو بكف ممدودة، يجيء رجال السيد فينظفون له الشارع من الجو، ثم يتكشف وجهاه (واعظ ضد الاسياد، ومتسول لسيد)، واخيرا يحمل صرته الى الزاوية التالية: العراق، لبنان، اليمن. الاطار الصادق حاسم: الواقعة موثقة بمصادر متعددة، اما حجم دور سليماني الشخصي فمتنازع عليه وقد ضخمته طهران، والفيديو يصرح بذلك. الضحية في الاستعارة هي شعوب البلدان المستنزفة (الشارع الذي يخوى = السوريون الذين ينزفهم المحور)، لا الشعوب نفسها، ولا ايحاء بتخطيط ايراني لعملية بعينها.

This video dissects the axis's anti-imperialist slogan through the metaphor of the vagabond: an actor that builds no homeland but survives by leeching other people's countries. He arrives penniless with a bindle of slogans, opens a shop on a corner of a country not his own (Syria), and drains the street until he is fat and the neighbours are hollow. Its hard anchor: in July 2015, as Assad's regime collapsed, Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani travelled to Moscow in defiance of the UN travel ban imposed on him under Resolution 1747, unfurled a map of Syria before Russian leaders, and argued the project could still be saved — in a line Reuters reported as "we haven't lost all the cards." Weeks later, on 30 September 2015, the Russian air campaign began and saved the regime. The pivot: the movement that chants against masters and imperialism did not defend its richest shop as a power would — it begged a great power for rescue and became indebted to it. Eight scenes follow a caricatured Soleimani-as-vagabond: he arrives with his bindle, opens his shop, drains the street rich, watches it collapse in the summer of 2015, carries his bindle to Moscow and begs with an outstretched palm, the patron's men clear his street from the air, his two faces are revealed (a preacher against masters, a beggar to one), and finally he shoulders his bindle toward the next corner — Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen. The honest frame is decisive: the event is multiply sourced; the degree of Soleimani's personal role is contested and Tehran mythologized it, which the video concedes. The victims in the metaphor are the peoples of the drained countries (the emptying street = the Syrians the axis bleeds), never those peoples themselves, and there is no implication of Iranian direction of any specific operation.
