الجزءُ الأول من «الوريث». قبل الحرب بأسابيع كتبت أمريكا في استراتيجية دفاعها ليناير أنّ عصرَ حمايتها المباشرة انتهى، وأنّ على الحلفاء الدفاعَ عن أنفسهم، والخليجَ تحمّلَ عبءَ ردع إيران، وأنّ أولويتها صارت الصينَ والداخل الأمريكي. لكنها لم تغادر فعلاً، فثلاثُ حاملاتٍ في المنطقة لأول مرةٍ منذ 2003. تغيّرَ الدورُ لا أكثر، من مدافعٍ بالجنود إلى سندٍ بعيدٍ يبيعُ التقنيةَ والسلاح ويتدخّلُ حين يشاء. وغيّرت العقد، حاولَ ترامبُ رسماً على هرمز ثم استبدله باستثماراتٍ خليجية، وقال ليس عدلاً أن نحميَ دون مقابل. وتطمئنُّ لأنها لم تعُد تحتاجُ نفطَك، فقد صارت أكبرَ منتجٍ ومصدّر، واجتاحت فنزويلا وتطاردُ غرينلاند. الرسّامُ يُعيدُ رسمَ المنطقة، فلمن يرسمُ مركزَها؟ في الجزء القادم، الوريث.

Part 1 of «الوريث» (The Heir). Weeks before the war, America put it in writing , its January defense strategy declared the era of direct US protection over: allies defend themselves, the Gulf takes primary responsibility for deterring Iran, and priority shifts to China and the homeland. But it never actually left , three carriers in the region for the first time since 2003. The role changed, not the presence: from a ground defender to a remote, paid backstop that sells you the tech, radar and arms and steps in only when it chooses. Trump even tried a 20% Hormuz "guardian" toll; the Gulf refused, so he swapped it for Gulf investment , "it's unfair we're not compensated." And he doesn't leave empty-handed: he pushed Iran out of Iraq and US firms grabbed ~$60B in oil deals, he bills the Gulf, and he eyes new oil in Venezuela and Greenland.
