اجتماع لندن

في ديسمبر ٢٠٠٢، قبل الحرب بثلاثة أشهر، اجتمع مبعوث بوش الخاصّ زلماي خليل زاد مع زعماء المعارضة العراقيّة في لندن. على المنصّة نفسها جلس عبدالعزيز الحكيم، رئيس حزبٍ أسّسته إيران في طهران، ودرّبه الحرس الثوري. هذي قصّة الغرفة الّتي خرج منها العراق ما بعد صدّام وكان رجل إيران جالساً على الطاولة.

In December 2002, three months before the war, Bush's Special Envoy Zalmay Khalilzad met with Iraqi opposition leaders in London. On the same dais sat Abdulaziz al-Hakim head of a party founded by Iran in Tehran and trained by the Revolutionary Guard. This is the story of the room from which post-Saddam Iraq emerged and Iran's man was sitting at the table.
